Normally when one goes to a Pizza Restaurant, you sit at a table, the server greets you with a smile, takes your drink order and waits while you look over the menu. Here, think of Your Pie as a "Subway Shop" for Pizzas, Salads, and Pannis where you can choose from various pizzas or create your own from scratch. Can't go wrong from the various pizza and panni choices. Your Pie, in Fleming Island, is located at the west end of the Winn- Dixie Plaza.

Absolutely love your pie! From the family friendly atmosphere, to the awesome staff, to the delicious toppings & delectable gelato for desert! My husband enjoys one of their nice cold draft beers as well. We always order the whole wheat dough which is so yummy. The children love playing with the dough balls they give them. The toppings are fresh & delicious and we've never been disappointed. They have specials throughout the week that are worth checking out!

Ok Yeeps let me start by saying that my mom hates pizza. No, she's not weird, she's just...how do i say...a health food freak. She doesn't do greasy, fried, high carb, etc. If I asked her to dip something in ranch dressing, you'd think I asked her to go parachuteless skydiving. That being said when I stumbled upon Your Pie and saw that they not only offered a thin whole wheat crust, multiple sauce and cheese options, but most importantly a virtual playground of veggie toppings...I was in. Convincing mom to try out a new pizza place was no small feat, as you can imagine, but thankfully (though with much reluctance) she agreed to go. Atmosphere: It's smaller in size than the Southside location, so go early because it fills up fast. I've been here a few times so far, and it's always clean and well maintained. I like that they have a good selection of both bottled and draft beer available (more than just bud and bud light), because what goes better with pizza than ice cold beer, right? There's also patio seating outside which is a plus on those perfectly sunny afternoons. Food: Mom was literally in awe as she feasted her eyes upon the countless veggies available to pile upon her whole wheat crust. She chose the pesto sauce, low fat mozzarella, grilled chicken, tofu, anddd pretty much enough vegetables to open a farmers market. Me? White crust, ranchy marinara, fresh mozzarella and provolone, bacon...bacon...spinach, artichokes, and i'm sure a couple of other things, but i did say bacon, right? I love the crust...I'm not a fan of thick crust pizza, because I feel it detracts from the flavor of all the other components. It's a thin crust, but not so thin that you think you're eating a Triscuit pizza. Overall in my opinion everything from the crust, to the sauce and the feshness of the toppings was spot on! So the verdict is in...she loved it. I was thanking my lucky freakin' stars. I can now take mom out...for PIZZA. I never thought the day would come *with tears and a slight sniffle.* From the second you walk in you're immediately welcomed with a warm smile from the staff and it's great to see that they put alot of love and care into every pizza they prepare. You're not rushed and if you're a first timer like mom was, they'll happily walk you through the process step-by-step. I love this place, I'm definitely a fan, and they'll be seeing me quite often!

Awesomeness. We've been to a couple of other pizza joints and they just don't compare.

Such a cool idea! Chipotle and subway meet pizza! Pick wheat or white crust, sauce, then choose your toppings. Veggies are no charge unlimited, meats cost a little per item (adds up quickly). It bakes for maybe 5 minutes and they bring it to your table. They also have REALLY GOOD gelato - on Tuesdays or Thursday's they have a special with the gelato if I remember correctly (sorry can't remember which day specifically). You must try this place out - it's one of two locations and it started in Florida. Oh, and the pizza does taste good ;). Just don't spill your water on your lap like my wife did to me....

Crust is rolled out in front of you so dough is very fresh. They've perfected their crust and sauces. I been to a similar franchise that wasn't so as good and no matter what toppings I choose, the pizza couldn't beat Your Pie. That being said; the pizza is delicious! Their gelato is yummy as well. Staff is friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars vs 5 is meat toppings isn't included, which can add up if you like meat like myself. The location in ATL has unlimited toppings including meats.

Great place to eat lunch. Staff is cool. Ingredients are quality and if your pizza doesn't taste good it's not their fault it's yours. Great place and Kramer would be happy.

Our first visit and we liked it! We had the Aloha (plus pepperoni) pizza, split the huge spinach gorgonzola salad and caramel sea salt gelato. We would recommend and definitely go back again!

So-so taste. The gluten free pizza is a major yuck. Nice servers but not worth the price if the food is bland. One thing that is pretty cool however, is that the kids meals come with a token for a free gelato, and if you don't redeem then, you are welcome to bring it back for a later treat.

Being a self-proclaimed food snob, there are only 4 places within a 40 mile radius that I will consider having a meal... I now have the 5th. Yum...

I'm not sure why anyone rated this place a whole star down based on the placed not having a proactive staff cleaning tables?! Get over yourself! Yelp is about food! To take away a star based on that means you are a #%^*, #endrant. this place was awesome I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza! The concept of making your own pizZa, is awesome. I bopped myself in thinking man why didn't I think of this. The ingredients are super fresh and the staff was witty! It's nice to deal with people who don't take themselves to serious! The pizza is made in a brick oven:) yummy yummy!! Go eat and enjoy!!

This is a nice addition to the chain restaurants offered in Fleming Island. I came here for an early dinner with my brother and mom since it was still relatively new & we wanted to check out something other than Mellow Mushroom. We were pleasantly surprised to see this cool concept of pizza making where each of us could order "your pie" just the way you like it! While not the most amazing pizza I've ever experienced (that would be Joe's in the West Village, NYC), it was good for Fleming Island without all the hassle of going to MM for the 1000th time. In addition, they offered a gelato dessert with your meal and carry some really great flavors. In fact, I pretty much tried them all. Ask for samples as they were more than happy to oblige me. Overall, it was a good meal at a reasonable price and a gelato for my sweet tooth just sent me over the top. 4 STARS

I love coming here especially with my kids. They love the size and state of the pizzas, I love it also but also love the price and the customer service. The manager is always clearing tables and making sure everyone is happy, definitely visit this place, I hope all franchises are run as well as this one.

My wife and I ordered a wheat crust aloha pizza. We had a beer while waiting. Our servers were fast, efficient and helpful. We took the pizza home, and really enjoyed it. We will be back!

Yeah !!!! Finally a place with great crust and you get to make your own pizza. Wonderful, different sauces and toppings available. Respectable beer selection. Quick, efficient service and they give a military discount. My new favorite place for pizza

I wish I could give it a 4.5 b/c it's a silly reason the pie wasn't OMG great. I just wish they had better pineapple instead of the canned one (you could taste the can). Other than that it was great. Can't wait to try another pie w/o the pineapple.

3.75 stars...so that rounds to 4 stars. Got a sneak peek of this new area concept where the pizzas are made to-order quickly in a gas oven, and are highly customizable (down to the dough - regular, wheat, and gluten-free), which is good news in that there's something for everyone. There are tons of fresh toppings available: roasted red peppers, corn, sun-dried tomatoes, jalapenos, broccoli, cilantro, dried cranberries, garlic (!), pecans, pineapple and beyond. Also on the menu are unique pizza dough bowl salads, paninis, gelato, sorbet, wine and beer (great assortment of both bottles and draft including local beer from Intuition Ale Works). High ceilings, ample seating (and a few tables outside), and lots of windows make for a laid back casual spot that's family-friendly. Our pizzas arrived quickly -- and were thin, crisp, flavorful and not greasy at all. We had a custom (bacon, tomato and pepperoni) on regular dough and The Hippie (sun-dried tomato pesto as the base, topped with fresh spinach, mushrooms, banana peppers, tofu, and low-fat mozzarella shreds), on wheat. We preferred the pizza to our italian panini. We also had caprese (spinach, fresh mozarella, tomato slices, basil, garlic and extra virgin olive oil) bread bowl salad but were too full to eat the actual bowl afterward. I tried the pistachio, salted caramel, and butterfinger gelato -- made with fresh milk instead of cream (and somehow 93% fat-free). The blood orange sorbet was a hit: sweet and tangy but not in an over-the-top sugary sweet sort of way. Granted we don't live near Your Pie, I think it'll be a welcome addition to the Fleming Island area and perfect for a group post soccer game or cheerleading practice. Two thumbs up!

Great quality and a wide variety of selections from pizza to salad to panini. A bit costly, but clearly made with ingredients of excellent quality. Worth visiting every now and then. Good portions, specially the gelato; don't let it fool you, you get a good amount for a 'small'.

Choice of dough, even a Glutton-free option. A great variety of sauces, cheeses, toppings. Well priced. Very helpful to the first-timer. Dough is good. (I got white) Went for standard marinara sauce. It was ok. Toppings were fresh. I will be more adventurous the next time.

What's not to love about a place where you get to make all the choices on what goes on your pizza? And they're done in about 5 minutes. Fresh ingredients make for a yummy pizza.

Excellent pizza and excellent service. Great place for the kiddos too - they were able to play with some dough while they waited and gelato comes with their meal. Visited here twice and both times the whole family was very pleased.

This place is incredible! If you like pizza and haven't been here yet then you're missing out. I've noticed a couple of previous reviewers compare to subway and they really hit the nail on the head. Your pizza is made right in front of you. First choose your dough, then sauce(s), your cheese(extra cheese is $1 each), unlimited veggie toppings, meat toppings do cost $1 each, then you're ready to go. Another really cool thing is if you have a problem with gluten, they have a gluten free dough(that I hear taste pretty good), they even will make your pizza in a separate area to ensure no cross contamination of gluten from the other pizza's. Oh and they have gelato, I haven't tried it yet but it looks really good. Make sure to get a "your pie" card. You have to activate it online after you ask for one, so if you're good with your phone and fast enough you might be able to get it working before you get to the register. Basically I believe it's for every $50 you spend, you get a $5 credit. This could take five trips or just a couple depending on how many pizzas, drinks, desserts you're buying. Still with it in my opinion, because once you've been once, you'll come back again and again and again.

First visit. I am impressed. I used to spin pies in my younger years and know it takes the right recipe to do it. They have it. Got a caprice salad and a Mediterranean pizza with jalapenos and it was great. Clean. Lighted. Not intentionally loud with piped in music. Great staff. Gave to say this place is a keeper.

I love that they have both a menu to choose from and ability to make your own pie. The concept is awesome, the food is always spot on, and the staff is great. It's not the best place to grab something quick to take home (I mean, the pizza has to cook) but it's fun when you're with a group where everyone has different tastes. I love the whole wheat crust with the garlic sauce, mozzarella, and tons of veggies. Every time I go, I say I'm going to try the salads but then i see the pizza and can't say no.

I really love the concept. You get to choose one of their favorites or make your own. Every pizza is ten inches which trust me is plenty lol. They have the best gelato I've tastes in years and the pizzas exactly how I love. Thin gooey but not dripping toppings everywhere. Perfecto. I love the fact that they have those freestyle coke machines to where I can mix my drink or go old school with a coke. When the weathers nice they have a few tables outside to eat and I love that. Service is super quick I usually am done with the line and food in hand within about 5 -7 minutes if even that !(: the line crews I've dealt with are all super sweet and even though we both have to speak up to be heard its seriously an awesome place to come for parties or just to relax. Best pizza place in Fleming !

The easiest way I could describe it is "take the way they make sandwiches at Subway and apply it to pizza". Everything is right out front for you to see. You pick the crust (bonus points for having a gluten free option, by the way), you pick the sauce, cheese, and toppings. You get to see them put it on your pizza. You can see them cook it as well. There's nothing hidden. No secrets. I know what I'm getting. The crust is thin and crispy. The traditional marinara sauce is perfectly spicy. So many places use a sweet marinara sauce that, in my opinion, ruins a pizza but not this place. The cheese is fresh and the ingredient choices are plentiful. It came out perfectly cooked and tasty. It also has a freestyle machine. From a purely philosophical standpoint, that's a perfect match. They're letting you customize your pizza in all kinds of ways, why not let you customize your drink as well? They also sell gelato which is a welcome addition to Fleming Island. I was getting tired of all the frozen yogurt places and, sometimes you just want something a little less healthy. There is a separate line and register for the gelato which, to me, shows some great forethought in planning. This way you don't have to wait in the big pizza line when you decide to go back for desert. I got some of the Tiramisu flavored and the wife got the mint chocolate chip and we both loved it. I was also impressed to see the owner of the place helping out everywhere he could. Between talking with guests to make sure they're doing ok, to helping bus tables, to helping cook, he was everywhere he was needed. When I see an owner jumping into the trenches like that, I can't help but feel a business is in good hands.

It's no accident that Subway has become the world's largest single-brand restaurant chain. Its model works -- you see your meal created before your very eyes, to your exact specifications, in an efficient assembly line built for speed, and for a reasonable price. The folks behind Your Pie want to bring that globally successful model to the world of personal-style pizza. Their first Northeast Florida franchise opened in Fleming Island in March 2013, and after my experience there, it's obvious what they're serving is hot. Your Pie offers only personal-size pizzas (Mellow Mushroom is just down the street if you want to super-size things). You can opt for one of their 14 "favorites" with the ingredients all figured out for you, or go out on a limb and create your own. Then you choose from one of three crusts (white, whole-wheat or gluten-free) and top it with one of nine cheeses, eight sauces, 11 proteins and 25 veggies. It's great fun to mix and match as you mosey down the line, and here's hoping they find a way to store your combo preferences in some cloud one day, ready for cyber-recall. At the end of the line, they fire up the brick oven for up to four minutes at 550-600 degrees. And voila ... Your Pie. You'll also find panini sandwiches, bread bowl salads, 12 sorbet and gelato flavors and plenty of craft beers (what else would you expect from a concept established in Athens, Ga.?). They also sport the way-cool Coca-Cola Freestyle if your drink preferences are softer or you're bringing the kids. Pies range from $7 to $9, with paninis coming in at $8, salads at $7 (or $3 without the bread bowl) and the sweet treats starting at $2.45. And in kid-friendly suburbia, you'd better have something for the little ones. Kids' meals start at $5.75 and offer pizzas or paninis. You can't beat the freshness you get from a pizza constructed before your eyes. The crispness of the veggies, the newly melted cheese co-mingling with the sauce, the overly hot first bite triggering an impromptu dive into your beverage of choice. It's a wonderful choice for large families celebrating after the soccer game, a quick lunch break from the office, or catching up with friends over pizza and beer. The local franchisee promises more locations in the area over the next few years. The second location, in Jacksonville's Tapestry Park off Southside Blvd. and Gate Parkway, is currently under construction. Oh, did I mention that Subway does a pizza, too? After trying both, it's obvious that Jared's baby can't hold a candle (or a 600-degree brick oven for that matter) to Your Pie's pizza-centric ethos, and let's face it, cool factor. Dive in, and have your beverage of choice ready.

I can't see what the hype is all about with this place. I went during lunch time recently and the place was dead. It was fun to pick out my toppings while ordering from the line, but then again, isn't this what you do with any pizza that's made to order? The crust to me was flavorless. More similar to a Totinos crust that I remember from my childhood. I wouldn't say it was speedy, just slightly faster than a place with a better crust. Whoever states that this place is better than Mellow Mushroom is out of their mind. Mellow Mushroom is far superior to this place in every regard.

I went with three stars more as an attention getter for management than a critique of the pies. To be honest, the quality of the freshly baked, personal, customized pizzas was four star, at least. The concept of having "Subway" style ordering at a pizza place gives you one of those "Why didn't I think of that!" moments. It is simple, original and genius all at the same time. I deducted the one star because of the lackadaisical attitude of some of the staff and the fact that nobody seemed to be proactively cleaning off tables. We were in there this past Saturday afternoon, shortly after 4:00. This was our first visit. At the time, they were not busy. When we walked in, all of the booths still had items (empty cups, silverware, pizza pans, etc) on them. Some of the empty tables looked the same. The tables that didn't have items on them were still pretty messy with crumbs from prior diners. After ordering, my wife wiped off one of the tables with some napkins and gave me that "strike one" look. As we were waiting for our food, I kept looking around wondering when someone would clean off all of the remaining tables. Finally, a customer came in and requested to have a booth cleaned off. I figured that the worker would then proactively clean the rest of them too. Nope. He apologized to the customer, cleaned off the booth, then proceeded to go back to whatever he was doing before. What would he have done if they got busy? Clean each table as requested or depend on the customers to clean their own (as we did)? On the plus side, the lady who took our order was very helpful and friendly and the fire baked pies were excellent, with a decent char and a nice texture to the crust. If the pizzas were not so good, we would not be going back. Since they were, Your Pie deserves a second chance.

When I heard a new concept restaurant was opening up in Fleming Island, being that it was an excuse for me to return to my roots, I jumped at the chance to go out and see what it was all about. If you haven't been out to that area in a few years, you will be surprised how its changed...for the good. Imagine if someone took a fast casual pizza place but gave you the option to custom make your pizza in a Subway, have it your way, style. Are you a gluten-free person? They have that as an option. Want a "ranchy marinara" sauce? Yep, they have that covered too (see what I did there? I'm here all day folks). Sun-Dried tomatoes, Carrots...yeah carrots, sweet corn, fresh cilantro...I could go on and on. Tons of options. You just walk down the line and point. And of course, they have a lot of cheese options. Originally, when I got in line, I was planning on just getting around 3 toppings. Yeah, that didn't happen. I was amazed at all the options. So, the 3 toppings thing didn't last. I loaded mine up with ranchy marinara, mozzarella, fresh cilantro, mushrooms, purple onions, grilled chicken, and then big pieces of fresh mozzarella (The pizza picture below is my wife's pizza, it's call "The Nat"). When you are done with making your choices, they throw it in an open flame oven right in front of you. You then pay and take your seat. They call your name out (mine was ready before I even sat down) and bring your delicious creation to you. I barely had time to check out the gelato. I will discuss this in a minute. They have lots of drink options. The Coca-Cola Freestyle will cover most of what you are looking for. They also had some local beers on tap, wine and I spotted some sangria. Back to the pizza. It was great. It was exactly what I was craving. I like the fact that each pizza is just for you. If you are like me and not everyone in the family likes the same things at the same time, this is a good way to make sure everyone can get what they want. After the round of pizza, I was determined to try out the gelato and sorbets. I got a sample of Blood Orange, Pistachio and Sea Salt Caramel. I'm a Blood Orange fan, it translated well. I think the Sea Salt Caramel missed the mark. Maybe that's because I have a high standard when it comes to Sea Salt Caramels : Sweet Pete's. My wife was a fan of the Mint Chocolate Chip. It was a good way to end the night. Extras: Check out the Caprese Salad in a Bread Bowl! I didn't see that until after I had ordered or I would have tried that out too. Next time...next time... The Good: - TONS of options for toppings - Everyone gets what they want - Local beer on tap - The owners are local - The employees seem to be all high schoolers but they were hustlin the whole time and were very courteous. Rare these days The Bad: - I live downtown and their only location is in Fleming Island :/

I was working in the area and I'm Glad I found this place thru a Yelp search. The pizza is made to order with as many toppings as you want. I opted for the whole wheat crust with assorted veggie toppings and it was great. Too bad it's location is not easily visible from the main road I 'm sure they would get more business if it were.

The idea of choosing our own pizza toppings greatly appealed to us, so we just had to try it out. We were not disappointed. Great crust and sauces......fresh veggies....yummy meats and cheeses. Above all the service was great. Thanks guys!

Quality food, wonderful service and reasonable prices. Sauces and toppings are fresh and varied. We were there at closing and were not made to feel like we needed to rush to finish. All pizzas are minis, intended for one person, and start at around $7; all fresh vegetable toppings are free and other toppings are $1 each. We tried several favors of the gelato, and all were creamy and delicious. This is my new favorite pizza place!

  • D D.

It's a nice concept. I like that they have a ton of topping options included in the price, including sun dried tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, feta cheese and other items that some pizza places charge a premium for. I had the whole wheat crust, which I generally like. To be honest, I was not a fan of the pizza. The toppings were good, but the crust was really lacking. It wasn't chewy. It wasn't crunchy. It was just kind of there, like a crust from one of those packages at the grocery store. My husband thought his crust was fine, but he ordered the white crust. He also loved the fact that he could put all the toppings I hate onto his own pizza, so the ability to customize is definitely an advantage. The pizzas are too small and not filling enough to share, so each adult has to get his/her own. This adds up to more than you would pay for a better quality (IMO) medium specialty pizza or a large pepperoni pizza at the well-established place just down the road. Overall, it's okay, but I'm not impressed.

Another great lunch! Even though they staff was very busy today they were friendly and all worked at a pleasant steady pace to get everyone their order. We come here several times a month and have NEVER had a bad meal or bad experience. Thanks to all the wonderful YOUR PIE staff.

When Your Pie opened I thought 'oh no, not another pizza place!' Fleming Island already had plenty to choose from. But now, boy am I glad they're here! Wonderful pizzas made to order with the freshest ingredients. My favorite pizza place without a doubt. Not the cheapest, just the best.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
